Can the goverment listen to your conversations??

apparently the goverment can listen to your conversations if you say certain words that have to do with terrorism, and can they see your online conversations if you also say terrorism stuff!! Is it true?????

They also capture alot of info from online stuff- ever heard of "Carnivore"? FBI humongo computer that analyzes email and internet traffic.

There is an ability to listen into many forms of communications. We certainly do have the techology.

But, trying to listen to all of the communications from everybody, even by automated method using some kind of "trigger words" will take far more capacity than we currently have.

So no, that is not true.

You better believe it. It is illegal and a violation of our right to privacy, but they still do it. The worst part is that almost all of the telecom companies in the U.S. have given up their private databases of our information to the government.
