I agree, i think that popularity can definitely have a positive effect on ambition as it gives the person confidence in what he does. However, popularity can also go to a persons head, makin him or her think that...well that nothin can phase them so they sorta start to slack and get sucked into a lifestlye..where are at some point they forget altogether what their whole goal/ambition was.

here's is a way.
i say it affects ambition in a positive way, because the popular person is more willing to believe he or she can achieve anything, because he or she will be supported by the crow.
