It would seem so. What they don't seem to understand, and let's face it they don't understand much, is that their arrogant and obnoxious behavior only alienates people rather than garners support. Vulgar abuse and insults are never arguments they are used by the uneducated who find it difficult to construct a sentence; they are the refuge of the not very bright. Canada's liberals may think that pandering to people who are not even Canadians (Bono), being corrupt and adopting policies which are not in Canadians best interests, while at the same time foisting incompetents like Martin on us, is OK - It will be a long long time before they return to power, and then it will only be because we need an alternative not because we have a choice. The Liberals in Canada should try, and I know it must be hard for them, to grow up. We need people who are mature and have serious approaches to serious problems not people who think that schoolyard antics are a solution.
The recent Aids conference is an example. Because Steven Harper did not turn up to the conference he was vilified. The fact that he had never agreed to do so was beside the point. He was branded a homophobe, a callous person etc.etc. More people die from Cancer in Canada than they do from AIDS but I don't see the Liberals being concerned about that. AIDS has their attention because it has things that they 'care' about: Homosexuals who should not be required to take responsibility for their own health, Celebrities who, because many of their Homosexual friends have died from it, think that it is the most important disease in the World and the support of the UN which picks it's causes for the maximum publicity. When abstinence was mentioned at the conference the person who raised the subject was verbally lynched. Now if a Cancer conference had been held, and they are by normal hard working Canadians and the leader of any party in power had not turned up and had been vilified for it - people would think they were crazy. But the liberals have their own list, their own agenda, of what's important, and dying of Cancer is so much less a deal than dying of AIDS that we have to put up with their whining when things aren't as they dictate. The irony of this is that I am not a conservative - it's just that I could never ne a liberal.
The Liberals behavior is shameful and they are shameless.

If being unpatriotic skill struggling with for Freedom and Equality and Tolerance for ALL electorate...they yeah, i'm damn proud to be unpatriotic. rather constructive those are issues the U. S. shape and Christianity the two communicate approximately...guess the U. As a Canadian liberal, I can tell you that's exactly how many of us think, sadly. And it's certainly the PERCEPTION of how we think. However, the gross overgeneralization of your statement is no better...many of us are intelligent and open to reasonable debate, and even encourage it.
Foolishness and closed-mindedness are hardly the province of only liberals...those characteristics appear all up and down the spectrum.
