I am 54 years old but I strongly believe that there is no limitation of age for education. I cannot join universities at this age but I might find be able to find scholarship with correspndence. Could someone be kind enough to help me in this matter.

You are never too old to go to university. I am 53, a retired grandma, and am hoping to go back to do some science courses.

However, to address your question, there are numerous on line universities and distance universities. If a school in Canada would work for you check out Athabasca University in Alberta. Their specialty is distance education.

Also, do a search here on Yahoo Answers for questions related to on line universities and distance education. There have been many of them. You should get a good variety of suggestions by browsing them.

Best of luck with it.

I got my BA through the University Without Walls program by taking a couple of proctored exams when I was 42.
John Bear was a great help. He has written some good books, including "What Color is Your Parachute" (for people wanting to change careers) and "Bear's Guide to Non-Traditional College Degrees", both published by 10 Speed Press and available from most good bookstores or online from Amazon, Ebay, etc.

I think University of Phoenix has online programs. They cost a fortune, but are accredited and recognized.
