Kind of defeats the purpose of juices if you dilute them. I don't dilute, but start with very small amounts, 1 or 2 ounces, and only 1 type of juice at a time - to catch any bad reactions, if any, but never had a bad one. Too much juice can cause you to change that nappy a whole lot.

The first time I would do 1 oz juice 3 oz water, to check for reactions. After a few days I would go to half and half.

The only juice I'd recommend is apple juice, all others are too acidic for babies. I'd do 40% juice & 60% water, and get the unsweetened kind, no sugar added.

Always half and half even when the child is older. Too much juice can ruin a child's teeth.
