Yes, some of the bigger corporate funeral homes are more for profit, but what business could survive without profit? And for all you people saying all funeral homes rip people off, you are just plain WRONG!! I own a funeral home and I try my damndest to keep prices fair to the public, but enough to keep me in business. We DO NOT rip people off. And for you who hate us, who the hell do you think is going to take care of your loved ones when you die? Are you going to do it yourself? Idoubt it, so stop stereotyping and saying that we rip people off. I earn a very honest living, thank you very much!!!

I believe that anything we need in our life that is owned by some one it doesn't have to be a corporation were taken advantage of, like gas, car insurance were I'm from is a law you have to have it so that just opened the door they can charge what they want we have no choice. Funeral Homes are the same way what choice do we have. For me just burn me up, no little place at the cemetery to put me, I want nothing at all

i do no longer see the way it would desire to be functional. somebody's abode does not have centers to embalm somebody or cremate somebody. they have not got the variety of tables and water centers you may desire to bathe the physique. Or keep the physique. At this think approximately time i'm not sure many human beings might choose a lifeless physique mendacity around between the rooms of their abode. And the removal of the physique from the abode would desire to get dicey--stairs and doors and flooring they do no longer choose broken or scratched via the gurney; the disruption of the human beings shifting the physique from the abode to the church or anyplace they intend to hold the centers. each and every so often your church is already booked for another adventure so which you may carry on the physique a at the same time as until eventually they have an beginning and you will't keep a lifeless physique on your abode for that long. those wealthy human beings you describe probable might choose to spend the extra money on a funeral abode which will shelter each and every of the main effective factors after their kin member dies so the kin does not could cope with it.

Regardless, funeral homes rip off people big time. When someone loses someone, the last thing on their mind is how much their funeral is costing. They'll pay anything to get it over with. Any other time half the people would be raising hell at those prices.
