It looks much the same as it has ever been now.
I suppose it must have improved a bit as if it doesn't improve it just gets worse and worse and it is just the same to me now.

Yes, the public transport system in London is better, as it is in the rest of the country. It's also pretty good compared to much of ther rest of the world; excepting a few countries of course.
That's not to say that there isn't room for improvement, but it's getting there.

The transport hasn't improved and it won't until some of the money that Ken Livingston rips the people off in conjestion charges actually is spent on improved bus n tube services and the roads.

There has been the opening of the Jubilee Line Extension, Congestion Charging since February 17th, 2003 and there are now improvements in safety,cooling,engineering and security.

depends on what you mean by improved.
it has expanded some.
the mouse population in the underground is steadily increasing.
the route master buses that you could easily get on and off have been exchanged for buses where you have to ask permission and hear a lecture before you get off if it isn't a proper stop.
it takes forever to get anywhere by bus,
I could go on.

no few years ago you hoped a bus may turn up now you start to walk knowing a bus is a thing of the past

Oooooooooooooooooh Y E S!!!!!! The bus service that we use is terrific now and is sooo reliable...every ten minutes. Its fantastic.
