I don't about these two models specifically, but I would go with the olympus even if the Sony costs twenty dollars more.
My aunt needed to buy one. She had to choose between a Sony version that cost 80 bucks or an Olympusthat cost 60 bucks. We spent half an hour in the store trying out the different ones. Even though the Sony was more expensive and it was a brand she trusted, the Olympus we listened to sounded a lot clearer and it was cheaper. So she bought the Olympus.

For no reason I will buy another sony product.
last two I got were waaaay below expectations
(a vaio laptop and a car stereo)
