I havent seen it since I was little (I was born in the 80s so might be a 80s or early 90s movie). Kids movie with a small talking alien silver spaceship. Machine alien head came down from the ceiling...Kid learned how to drive it with 2 handles...kid taught the ship how to talk right....i think he listened to the beach boys or something similar...on the ship were a few tiny other aliens...Those are the little bits I remember..Anyone know this? It has been bugging me for years!

Flight of the Navigator.It was release in 1986. I love that movie to. I watched it when I was a kid.I believe it is a Disney movie.

The movie in question is "Flight of the Navigator" from 1986. A childhood favorite of mine as well. The IMDb website is full of all the info beyond that you might need.
