I usually smoke a blunt eveynight AFTER the kids have been put to bed.....I dont see any harm in this but to hear her tell it I may as well be smoking crack!

I smoke in the backyard so the smell or having it around the kids isnt an issue. Plus my kids are both under 3 still.Some people like to have a drink to relax and chill I prefer to smoke.

I don't think theres any harm in that either and I'm sure it makes you more pleasant to be around. Enjoy it. Maybe you can go outside where you can get a little peace and quiet.

If this is who you are and it is not hurting anyone then I say go for it. Explain to her that you are not doing anything wrong and the kids don't see it so it is harmless. Of course if you are getting so blasted that it's effecting your ability to help out then you need to do it less. I can see where a whole blunt would wipe you out for the remainder of an evening. Maybe if you just try to cut down to a few tokes and don't let it go to your head to hard. Also do it where she can't smell it or see it. Come in and brush your teeth and wash your hands when you are finished. She may just be worried about you too. Talk to her
PS. you can't get arrested for smoking weed. If you are dealing it then that is different. I suggest you keep it well hidden at all times though so the kiddos don't see it.
Spikey down there is retarded too. Lord Forbid if your kids found a bud and ate it. I'm so sure. We are here talking about weed and he brings up something like that.

While I totally understand where you are coming from. She doesn't seem to want to compromise on this issue and I'm sure she knew before you got married and had kids that you smoked. It's was her decision, as well as yours, to get married knowing that you each had different views on something that shouldn't even be an issue, honestly. Alcohol impairs you and damages you A LOT more then hemp ever will. Does she complain when you have a beer? I'm sure you've had that discussion with her as well. Good luck with that man. Some people just are not into drugs. Me and my hubby dont see eye to eye on marijuana use, either. I'd like to light one up now and then, he threatens divorce if I even think about it. So, i just dont. She may be stressing cuz the fact its illegal and she's going over all the 'what if you get caught' theories in her mind. Is money an issue for you? If it is, maybe she's concerned how you afford it. I personally see nothing wrong with it IF: you can afford it, you are not smoking it in the house, kids asleep or not, dont do it in the house, and at least one parent is sober to handle any emergency that may come up.

If you smoke now, I assume you smoked when you met her and began a relationship with her. You didn't give enough detail as to whether she knew you were a smoker when you met or if she used to smoke or what.
If she did know when you guys met and you never made any promises to stop, then she needs to accept it and shut her face. If you began after the two of you met or concealed the fact, then you need the problem is all yours.

Why would you jeopardize your kids and family? If you didn't want to grow up and be an adult you shouldn't have had kids. You may as well be smoking crack since are both are illegal. If she was smart she would kick your butt out or report you before the kids get taken away.

if you know how she feels about this then why do you do it?My husband used to be a pothead i put an end to that real quick and i think your wife needs to do the same.She shouldnt have to live somewhere that makes her uncomfortable.Her main concern is probaly the fact that you are smoking it with the kids in the house and she may be afraid someone will find out and come and taker her kids away and take you and her to jail.

I'm a weed smoker and she just don't understand that, all it is, is a relaxer a mind gathering smoke and as long as your job is all good and the bills are payed and your not out there selling any thing to get it she should be easy and let you continue to fly and stop messing up your peace

I used to date a guy that smoked weed. Just respect her by brushing your teeth and taking a shower after you smoke, and don't mention the fact that you are going to smoke to her. That way she won't have to hear about it, smell it, or see it. If you don't mention it, eventually she won't either.
I hated the weed / cigerette breathe and smell on the clothes.

i personally don't see anything wrong with it , but if the city finds out they could take your kids away . You should just hide it from her and do it outside like everyone else
also if she knew about your smoking when you first got together she has no right to say anything
