the question should be, why 'do' people slouch? people slouch cause of many different reasons, it could be because of their emotition, something psyichal or any other factors. i must say, people like you give very vague questions and don't give any detail about why are are asking it.

aefhskjrfhsk...should learn how to spell 1st before critiquing someones grammar..note the correct spelling. I was always taller than everyone while growing up, so I slouched to bring myself down a couple inches to every ones height. Now I stand proud at 6' 5" and tower over most people

they aren't use to walking correctly. and this may be a cuze of sitting in an incoorect possition. or others slouch cuz they look towards the ground, look where they place their foot, or of shyness. so slouching may be called a habbit

It's not really laziness it is just a habit. Old habits die hard. All the people here saying slouchers are lazy most likely slouch themselves.

I slouch... I just have horrible posture. I feel weird when I correct myself though; I feel like I'm sticking my boobs and a*ss out much like a bimbo hooker. Not the look I'm going for.

becouse they feel selfconcious about thereselves and dont want people to see them usualy people who feel left out do this and tall ppl want to be shorter so they slouch tghis is a fact i got from human responses.org
