There are many. Typical ways include service type work such as mowing the lawn, babysitting or house cleaning. A more modern way to make money is designing web pages. If you have access to a computer and the web, that could be a viable solution. When school is back in, tutoring could help as well.

Babysitting neighborhood kids is a great option. Or you could go back to the old school option and sell stuff like lemonade or old toys. Selling stuff (your parents or you dont want) after putting ups advertisments is a great option. There are places that actually hire 13 year olds. I am only 14 and I work at a museum. I volunteered for a couple of months and then they got me working papers and now they pay me. There may be similar options in your neighborhood to do things with little kids..maybe at the local Y..or any other local businesses esp. if they know your parents. SOme places may hire you for mini jobs like bagging at supermarkets..if your parents come in and ask that you have a job. who knows? it just amy work.

I can tell you the ways i earned money when i was your age maybe it can help you...
1 Ask your folks if you can hold a yard sale, sale any clothes or toys that you dont like/use any more
2 ask your folks if there is any jobs around the house that you could do tell them you are tring to earn money.
3. ask your folks if you can have any of their left over change (even pennys for some reason most folks dont like pennys hhhehe )
sadly there is not alot of jobs you are aloud to do when you are 13 when i was 13 i wanted a PC so bad so this is what i done save up the money.
$200 in change (MOSTY PENNYS) for doing jobs around the house like washing the dishes, clearning your room stuff like that, and got $150 from a yeard sale, then got on ebay and got my folks to order my pc(note tooks time save that much up, so just be patiant)
hope this helps

At that age mine went into the garden snake business, it was so funny, but they got the money and ranned, then the candy business, hustling candy really does work, it'll keep you re upping though News paper, if he has a close route a bike will do it, if not, guess what? You and him/her will work it! Be advised: you should study their maturity level before baby sitting takes place! Yard sales, auctioning off toys work, they collect toys from other kids and raffle, or action them off, it's fun! I did the bake sale and car wash for a famous TV show, when small and turned the money into the show. I think my mom did, hahahahaha, but anyway, he could collect comic books and have a rally on them. all kinds of things, cutting grass for neighbors, shoveling snow this winter maybe, going to get groceries for shut in neighbors that you know, don't send him alone. And before sending tell him to tell you of any foul play or unkind touches or words immediately. Hoped I helped you!

Babysitting is the obvious answer - but at 13 you should take a community class first and get certified in CPR and learn about other safety issues.
Dog walking and washing is another option, and taking care of your neighbors' homes and animals while they're away. Washing cars
Household chores are always another way. Bakes sales are another option.

best way is to babysit. and they seem to be in high demand now today depends on where u r. Just put up a few flyer's in your area and you should get a few calls in a day or two. if you pull them like have them at your house and you can take care a few at a time you can make even more money. me and my sister did that when we were kids made like 100+ a day babysitting 5 kids for 5 hours after school while their parents where at work. we just had the school drop them off at our house and had the parents pick them up from our house and pay at the same time. it was great. just had to give them a little snacks and drink and all set we even help them with their homework.

Babysitting is a great way of making money. You should also look into tutoring younger kids if you are good in academics. Assisting older people in their house work is a good way. Walking dogs in your neighborhood could be a good way also. Just keep in mind that you'll be working the rest of your life when you become an adult, so just enjoy your youth while you can!!!

if your parents pay you, do lots of housework. if not (or if they do but you want more) try to go to a babysitting course and start babysittingat a rate of like 3-5 dollars an hour, i reccomend. if that doesnt work try to go around to close neighbors and ask if you can do some yard work or maybe if you see an older person try to do work around the house for them. and if that doesnt work get a group of friends together and try to do a carwash if you or a friend has a big enough drive way, with adult supervision would be good though. you can also wait a year to get a job at market basket or funspot! good luck!
