For about the past month and a half or so I have been in quite a bit of pain when I have sex. I don't even know how to describe the pain or what it feels like.... IT HURTS!!!! The pain is about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way in and has been getting worse (now about a 7-8 on the pain scale). My boyfriend and I havent even been able to have sex for like 3 weeks because it hurts sooooo bad!!I have been to the doctor multiple times and they don't really even know what to make of it. They have ruled out all the common things like STD's, fibroid tumors and ovarian cysts. I don't know what else to do except find out if anyone else has had the same problem. Please help me!!

Could be Endometriosis. It causes painful sex and cannot be seen on regular exams. The only real way of finding Endometriosis is through Laparoscopy (a camera thru the belly Button). I just had surgery for it (and fibroids,cysts) a few months ago.

I had a problem very similar to this. I had a simple vaginal yeast infection though (which monostat didnt take care of), went to ob-gyn and she gave me a pill for it and that took care of it. Havent had a problem since!

You might have Lychen Sclerosis. My wife has it and it's very painful..Ask your doctor..(Sorry, I'm not a lady )
