Of course! I'm originally from Hobbs. Got my degree from UNM. If you haven't been there yet, you gotta get over to have dinner at El Patio on Harvard, south of the University. It's a little tiny place that serves fantastic New Mexican food. Contrary to most Mexican food restaurants, they *don't* bring you chips and salsa before the meal, so you need to order that separately if you want some. Personally, I suggest skipping the chips, just go straight into an enchilada, then wipe up the sauce with a sopaipilla and/or get a helping of flan. DELICIOUS!
(Naturally you'll already know and love the Frontier for any number of their great dishes...)

Yes, I live in Las Vegas, N.M. ( just moved here from Farmington).
Las Vegas is a small town so we go to Albq fairly often for shopping and racing our horses at the track there.
