Because he already had his sights set on Saddam, even though Iraq had nothing to do with the 9/11 attacks and didn't pose an immediate threat to our country.

Why didn't Bill Clinton? He was offered to him 3 times!!! But the point is that 9/11 still would have happened no matter if Bin Laden was caught or not! He has more than enough people working under him, trained well enough that they don't need him. We took Sadam out of Iraq, did that take away the problem? No, he is just a piece of the puzzle. You see, unless someone hands over Bin Laden we will never get him. There are far to many caves, holes and ditches for him to hide in and far to many people willing to hide him. But I would love to see him fry if we do get some lucky break and somehow catch him.

How come we never caught Adolph Hitler?
Why wasn't that our priority during WW II?
Why did we fight Germany at all? They had nothing to do with 12/7!
Oh wait, Roosevelt was a Democrat so it was okay to prosecute the war that way...sorry.
We are doing the right thing in not obsessing over bin Laden. If we killed him this afternoon the liberals would still find something else to complain about. They are not behind the War on Terror at all. They hate Bush because he is prosecuting the war.

Because he is insurance to keep the war continuing. If he was caught and all "Terrorists" were really caught then he wouldn't make money with his weapons manufacturing and he needs reasons to go into Middle East countries to take oil, he is basically occupying countries using bait or having someone to put the blame on while he makes money. Why did he just sit there with those schoolchildren on 9/11 its all part of a scheme. To create war to make money and take over land rich in natural resources. Bin Laden is his incentive to keep the old term Terrorist to frighten people into believing he is the Knight in Shining Armor out to save the Country from annihilation when really he is lining his and his friends pockets.

Because he's been dead for a few years now. We haven't found a body, but it's probably been enshrined and there's no good reason to go digging up graveyards without any evidence. Our government hasn't said anything about it, because if Bin Laden was found, Americans might think the reason for the War on Terror was over, and it's a useful scare tactic to control the weaker minds of our country.

Actually I think he probably wants to capture bin Laden very much, I think a lot of resources are still searching for him. Bush said he didn't care about bin Laden, he was speaking relatively. He is more concerned with giving tax breaks to billionaires and cutting environmental protection. Plus, if he says he doesn't care about catching bin Laden that sort of excuses not finding him in....wow, its been 5 years now!

Catching Bin Laden would not provide any economic benefit to the president or to the US. Laden is off hiding in some caves somewhere in some country that has nothing to offer the US. Meanwhile Iraq and Iran, etc do have something to offer the US (oil) so that's where Bush has focused his "efforts."

There are more important issues than catching one man. Terrorism is the biggest threat to our way of life. If we cut and run
then they will come to us. Do you want to be fighting wars here?
I dont. I've been to war and war is Hell. So if we get the disease
then Bin Laden is effectively out of business.

Because, militarily, he himself is not as important as eliminating his lieutenants and the rest of his organization. He is unable to get out of his hidey hole, so when we kill his leaders, it disrupts his organization a lot more than if we just got him.
Yes, it is a change in direction, but I think it is one the military analysts and experts convinced him to do. Bin Laden will be caught eventually, but it is actually more effective in preventing terrorism to eliminate his organization, according to the military experts.
And what's this 'brought to justice' stuff? When he's caught, he needs to be hanged immediately, like the common murderer his is.

Because Bush "cut and run" before catching Osama bin Laden (which he had a chance to do) in order to attack the wrong country - Iraq. Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 and had no WMDs.
