cable news exploits any story for it's own benefit....but with this case, it has been unsolved for so long that they know people will be tuning in to find out what is going on...just like when they find out what really happened to Natalie Holloway in Aruba..it's all about the ratings and the money

Yes they are once again under the mistaken impression that beyond the basic facts we really care at all. I believe this is the overblown coverage the guy was hoping for when he "confessed". Not really sure the guy did it. They should have done a DNA test before making this be show of it all.

yeah they are. the case is 10 years old and all of the sudden there is this big fuss. i was reading an article today about how all of the people in jon benet's hometown are upset about all of the media attention. it was quiet for all of that time and now there are reporters all over the place.
