Not an expert here, but I think the answer is yes. I think Puerto Ricans are natural born citizens.
"No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."

No it can not be elected because of the fact Puerto Rico isn't component of the U. S.. it somewhat is unfastened linked to the U. S. that's different. additionally Puerto Ricans have a congress US statutory citizenship (it somewhat is taken away because of the fact the political affiliation isn't an enduring one.) In 2006 the Puerto Rico perfect courtroom recognised the Puerto Rican citizenship.

The answer is probably - the definition of natural born citizen is a little sketchy, but John McCain was born in a territory and nobody questioned his ability to run. Someone should try it and see.

Far as I know you can. Long as you were born in America. To double check just read the Constitution. Puerto Rico of course is part of America.

Though you are a citizen, I don't believe you can. Because Puerto Rico is a US territory.
