you don't. you have to take the risk and develop a relationship with this person. if you're always thinking, could i find someone better? you'll never be happy. you found someone you love. stick to it. some people don't ever find even that.

If you are under 18, the best answer is don't stop looking just yet. Relationships are a complex and very often confusing process and as a general rule, teenagers don't yet have the life experiences to understand what they want in a long term relationship.

Ask yourself, why do I love this person(be specific, don't deal in generalities), what drawbacks have I seen about this person, and would they be an issue if we were spending the majority of our time together, in short is this someone I could see myself waking up to every day for the next 60 years?

In the end, being honest with yourself and listening to yourself is the best policy. If you feel like you have to continue searching for someone better, try to find out specifically why you feel that way. Odds are if you think you should be looking for something better it is because for whatever reason you aren't happy with what you have.

Ask the difficult questions of yourself now, you'll be happy in the end that you did.

If you feel like maybe you could do better, you probably should keep looking. The feeling part of "love" comes and goes over time. It's the commitment part that makes it work. If you're not sure what you have is the very best, when things get tough, you'll always wonder if he just wasn't the right guy.

When I met my husband, I knew he was the right guy for me because before I was always wondering if there was someone else out there. When I met him, I didn't want to go out with anyone else or look any more. I just knew.

We've been married 20 years.

The truth is...

The future is unpredictable... I've been in love with so many girls that I've thought at the time, "was the one". It's crazy how life works...

But the thing is... people change. You two may be perfect for one another now, but as you both change, you may or may not still be compatible. That's just the way it works...

Imagine your partner was not with you, how would you feel?Would you want your partner back or would you be happy to find someone new. If you're happy to find someone new, then this relationship is simply a phase, end it now and move on. If you wouldn't want to find someone new then this is for real and you wouldn't be asking this question. So, in conclusion, this is not the relationship for you, move on. Get a life, like already...

If love is not the indication then what is. stop now! unless u think you dont have the perfect chemistry yet between the 2 of u. By the way, that perfcet chemistry is all hogwash.

Stay with it and fine tune it.

I have the same problem, I always wonder if there is better. Some times I've loved too much, some times I've been loved too much. I wish force once it could be equal, lasting and ever growing.

If you think you can find someone better than maybe it is not really love. If it was truly love you wouldn't still be searching.

If you love him there should be no reason to continue to search. Listen to you heart. If you are still searching while you are inlove with this person maybe you really are not in love with this person. Think about it.......
