If you are spotting after sex or an exam it's nothing to worry about BUT if that's not the reason then you need to call your doc NOW!!

I didn't have any cramping with my first pregnancy. I am pregnant again, though, and when I started feeling cramps I was worried. I had some cramps from the time I found out I was pregnant until about my 12-13th week. No spotting or bleeding of any kind, just the cramping....I read that it could be the round ligaments in the uterus stretching as the baby grows.

At 12 weeks 5 days I was diagnosed with placenta previa even though I thought it was too early to diagnose something like that, and at 17 weeks they checked my placenta again and it was up at the top of my uterus (all that worrying.....almost for nothing!)

Any questions you have, no matter how silly they may seem to you, you should call your OB nurse or doctor and ask. Pregnancy is a wonderful thing, and it's full of a lot of mixed emotions...these professionals understand that, and your questions won't seem silly to them. I called quite a bit when I was pregnant the first time.

You'll be fine, and congratulations on your pregnancy!! Good luck to you!

See your doctor and get an Ultrasound to know for sure, but be assured that some medical sources state that 35% of ALL normal pregnancies will have some bleeding in the first trimester. Sometimes the spotting comes from your cervix, which becomes very tender and bleeds easily (much like a nose bleed or gums bleeding ) during pregnancy.

I cramped until 12 weeks with both my babies. I had 2 different dr with them and they both told me it's caused by your uterus expanding. It's completely normal, I've known a lot of ppl to get them and had perfect pregnancies and healthy babies. If you do start spotting though or you just get a weird feeling that something is wrong..call your doctor and have them check you out. Don't take no for an answer, If they can't fit you in to calm your fears then I'd find a more understanding dr.

in case you're ever frightened approximately something... pass see your well being practitioner/midwife... they're going to the two positioned your innovations comfy or deliver you off to a test just to learn each and every thing is high quality... It does not sound too undesirable... no longer all and sundry bleeds... it rather is easily no longer overly common even in basic terms approximately 25-30% of girls human beings bleed. I bled and that i replaced into advised that at no factor throughout the time of being pregnant is bleeding well-known, each and every so often it rather is not something, yet on no account well-known... so count quantity your self fortunate there :) and a few human beings have not got morning disease... I had it horribly, my sister in-regulation replaced into not often ill in any respect... intercourse is secure to have during. i might nevertheless examine with your well being practitioner or midwife just to learn, they say a surprising loss of indications would desire to be undesirable... yet while there is not any soreness and no blood... i does not get too frightened approximately it, stress is not any sturdy for toddler! and all and sundry is diverse... they say morning disease eases off between 12 and 15 weeks... i had it until eventually finally 20 weeks... what they say approximately being pregnant is very very imprecise rather once you attempt and personalise it for your self... and in basic terms considering which you're no longer getting the main universal indications you're nevertheless getting a number of them!

I was told by my O.B. that this is your uterus starting to prepare for the baby. If your not bleeding than there shouldn't be anything to worry about. Pregnancy is not a comfortable thing. You'll have all kinds of cramps and pains, even after the baby is born. It sucks but believe me it's more than worth it!!!

My doctor told me that once you get pregnant ANY BLEEDING IN ANY AMOUNTS coming out of your vagina is not good, she told me If that ever happened to me I should seek medical attention. I have been sexually active since I got pregnant and I do not bleed or spot after sex, if you do it is NOT normal, I would say you need to go to see your doctor bleeding or spotting is a sign of a miscarriage and it should not happen when you are pregnant.

I do not understand , you say you have been spotting but then you say you are not spotting?
If you have not contacted your doctor at all in this time to tell them you are spotting you should do so now.
If you have quit spotting then yes you are probably okay, but call the doctor or if you have not seen one yet, do so now. it is very, very, important to see a doctor regularly during your pregnancy to ensure you and the baby remain healthy.
you need to have prenatal vitamins and blood tests regularly to ensure your vitamin level stays up for your teeth and bone to remain strong and the baby to get what it needs also.

cramping with no bleeding or spotting is most likely just the ligaments around the uterus stretching and getting longer. But if the pain get worse or you DO start bleeding call your OB/GYN.

Yeah, you need to check with your doc. regardless. Sometimes if you have sex, you will bleed afterwards, and that's totally normal.

But being in your first trimester, you should be on top of it as quickly as possible. I'm sure nothing's wrong, just a huge hormone change for your body, but better to be safe than sorry .. call your doctor.

Good luck, Mama to be!!

I had cramping and spotting when I was about 3 months pregnant. It turned out to be nothing, and it never happened again during my pregnancy.

Talk to you doctor, just to be safe!

Good luck!
