alright,,, i love to dance, its my passion, ive been doing it all my life, and im not gonna lie, im pretty good at it... but the only thing is that i keep hurting myself...ive popped both my knees out of their sockets (ouch!) and torn a ligament in my leg for which i had to have surgery, and and sprained both my ankles...the doctors and my dance coach both say that its because i am getting older, so i guess that means im more 'fragile', but i dont know if all the pain is worth it to keep pursuing dancing....help!

If you love to dance, keep dancing. But it looks like if you go on, you're going to do some serious damage to your body. By the time you hit 30 or 40, you might even need a wheelchair or you might have significant difficulty in walking. I think you should think about the future before you do so much competitive, serious dancing.

Maybe you should just stick to dancing for recreation, so that you can keep dancing for as long as you possibly can without hurting yourself.

Perhaps try a different "style" of dancing
