Gallipoli

Not sure if it's actually an anti-war film as such, but it's impact towards the end certainly makes me question the futility of war

Major Payne with Damon Wayans or In the Army Now with Pauly Shore. The horror. The inhumanity. The lack of consideration for the viewing public. They show that war is not funny.

This says anti-war not war right? Maybe you could clarify a little more. If you mean like shows the cruelties of war then I got to say The Great Raid which I just saw was a little messed up.

War is in our nature and is essential. So you should have no problem finding plenty of movies portraying it as futile in hollywood.

I hope you realize that every system of government that has your same thought process is conquered. Unless they depend on protection from another country that doesn't have these weak and ignorant views.

Michael Moores Bowling For Columbine, and Faranheit 911.

The right wing media have tried their damnest to discredit him, but he made an arguably compelling documentary - especially when he exposed the media and government hold on American society through constant fear. And when he confronted Heston. So what he was an old man; his society made the gun rally visit Columbine in the wake of the high school massacre.

It is good to see a voice of dissent question the status quo, rather than follow blindly in the trampling footsteps of the republican New World Order.
