I am thinking about going to Dallas to see a Cowboys game. I was wondering if the stadium is located in a decent area(IE: no crime, ghetto?) Also is Dallas a decent city to vacation if you have young children 7 year old twins?

Thanks for your help.

Dallas is a nice place. Don't stay at the Econolodge near the stadium! The pictures look nice but it's a dump! We still have nightmares. lol There are several hotels near the airport that are nice. The highway near the stadium is confusing so get good directions. We've been in that area several times and if you miss your exit (on left side) you have to turn around and drive a couple miles to try it again. The Dallas Galleria is fun. Also, Six Flags. It's not like L.A. or San Francisco but it's ok. If your a Cowboys fan then you'd have fun.

the stadium is ok, but i would stay in North Dallas. A little nicer. I would take the kids to either the Dallas or Fort Worth Zoo. If you go on the DART train's website, you can take them to the Fort Worth Zoo for $1 or $2 for the day ($5 for you). They will love the train that goes between Dallas and Ft. Worth bec. it is a double decker!

The stadium is a dump and the traffic on game day is horrible.
