I use Clinique regularly but in college when money was tight, I used Loreal. I think their liquid foundation and powder provides great coverage. I still use Loreal lipstick and other products. I also used Neutrogena but they discontinued my color. Either Neutrogena or Loreal are comparable to Lancome...except..no free gifts :(.
Hope this helps!

HI! I run a SEPHORA beauty store, and I know just the thing if you are short on some money right now. Our products reflect our prices, which is high quality. If you want to purchase makeup form a drugstore, PLEASE try Physician's Formula. I swear that it is so light and sheer, you would think that you are wearing nothing! It almost feels like Bare Minerals, which is sold at Sephora. Good Luck.

L'Oreal is the best, their True Match is great. BTW, they own Lancome, so you'll find some similarities in the products. I hate Cover Girl too!

If you love Lancome, you should love Loreal too. They are the same company and to be quite honest with you, the quality is exactly the same. Sometimes, the products names are also similar. Loreal is a great brand.

Maybelline, Physician's Formula, and Wet n' Wild all work. My liquid foundation is Maybelline, while my powder is Physician's Formula. Good luck!

I agree with what Kat said. L'Oreal is owned by Lacome, therefore the makeup is pretty much the same. You'll find the same quality as Lacome with L'Oreal, but at a cheaper price.

Almay Nearly naked ... comes with spf 12, it is sheer but gives you a glow like physician formula that makes every skin defect disappear. Runs around 8$ CAD and make-up is cheaper in the states.
P.S. try their nearly naked blush it's amazing

There is a new mineral line in the "Physicians formula." brand of make-up that is about half as good as bare minerals (which can also get expenisve) I have tried it and I like it very much... nothing compares to bare minerals but it is good for a budget.
