Why do men with goals tend to succeed in life, and men without them tend to fail?

Goals based on "pay value" create constructive motivation. Its difficult to maintain high levels of motivation without a clear plan for achievement. Its like setting out on a trip. If you don't have a clear destination in mind and a map to help define the most direct route, you might tend to wander aimlessly until you give up. This is true for women as well as men.

This doesn't just apply to men, but women also. If you have no goals, then you have no set plan for what you want to achieve in life. People with realistic goals, plan out what they need to do to get to where they want to be, then they take the steps neccessary to achieve it.

Without a plan anyone is destined to fail at what the world considers success.

Pretty much people who have goals in life they'll succeed in life, because they strive to achieve the goals that they want to achieve, people with no goals they just waste life, and so therefore they tend to fail in life.

Not all men with goals succeed but the ones that pursue their goals.So if you have a goal and did not work towards it, its as good as not having at all.

Goals are roadmaps to follow and strive for. If one has a goal then they have a destination they would like to achieve. Without any goals they are merely existing and taking things as they come with no purpose or direction.

because you have to have a goal in order to succeed by definition. You don't just "succeed" in general, you have to be successful at something in particular.

thats wrong,i never set any goals for myself,i know it sounds sad,but its true,just kind of take it as it comes,and i make more money,have a better job,more vacation time,and a better family then most people i know,and they set goals went to college etc etc,and now theyre either divorced,broke from college bills,or have low paying jobs,lol yaaaaay for not applying myself at an early age,slacking off,and partying,they all waited untill they were older to do that and i already had it out of my system,so haha i win
