THE POLITICAL ARENA IN THE UNITED STATES IS PREPARING FOR WAR (WITH THE UPCOMING MID-TERM AND PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS) AND IN THE END NOT EVEN HOLLYWOOD WILL DO A BETTER JOB AT FRAMING THE ISSUES FOR THE AMERICAN PUBLIC.ONE THING IS FOR SURE,THE UPCOMING ELECTIONS WILL BE WON OR LOST ON THE ISSUE OF FEAR AND INSECURITY....NO OTHER ISSUE WILL BE DEBATED AS INTENSELY AND NO OTHER ISSUE WILL MORE CAPTURE THE IMAGINATION OF AMERICANS.....WHY? 9/11 STILL LIVES.

HISTORICALLY,FEAR HAS ALLWAYS BEEN USED AS A POLITICAL STRATEGY.PEOPLE LIKE TO FEEL SECURE....THAT'S THE MAIN REASON THEY ELECT A GOVERNMENT AND ANY STRATEGY THAT BETTER ASSURES THE ABILITY TO SECURE A NATION WILL WIN ANYTIME......WETHER OR NOT WHAT'S BEING SOLD IS A MYTH.

CONSIDER THE CURRENT REALITIES THAT AMERICANS FACE: TURMOIL IN IRAQ COSTING AMERICAN LIVES AND MONEY,HIGH AND HIGHER OIL PRICES ,POSSIBLE OUTBREAK OF ALLOUT WAR BETWEEN NATIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST ,NUCLEAR UNEASE ALONG THE KOREAN PENNINSULA AND IN IRAN.ALL OF THESE HAVE ONE THING IN COMMON....THEY ARE ALL OVERSEAS ISSUES NOT DIRECTLY THREATENING OUR BORDERS OR FOR THAT MATTER OUR IMMEDIATE NATIONAL SECURITY.YET EVERY FOCUS WILL BE PLACED ON THESE ISSUES AS SUCH IN THE COMING ELECTIONS.JUST WATCH.

That's not the real Republican Party platform.

But it is the platform of greedy, immoral men who willingly turn the tragedies of war and suffering into huge profits and personal gain.

Wrong. Here is their platform. ( Though I disagree with much of it).
