On Gilmore Girls, they always show Lorelai eating junk food. But she's so tiny! Is she really eating, or is that fake food (like props)? Also, when they show sex scenes on tv, are the actors really having sex? Or is is fake? How do they do that?

Since they do so many takes, they usually don't eat (or at least not more than a bit). The food is usually cold anyhow since it would have been sitting out for hours.
I thought it was funny when I read an interview that said Rory actually drinks Coke when she is supposed to be drinking coffee because she (Alexis Bledel) actually hates coffee in real life.
Sex scenes are fake, even in movies when the actors are naked.
Obviously the sex is real in a porno though.

on TV some eating is real, sex is fake...but there are some movies where the sex scenes are real, but you can't tell which ones...it is determined between the actors involved and the directors, are the actors willing to do it, how far, etc, ...a friend of mine who is a camera man for a movie studio told me that most isn't real, but some are really into it, and I suspected this...want names? You wouldn't believe it.

The eating isn't fake. They have to compensate by only eating crap on camera and working out like crazy. The sex is fake. Camera angles and editing can make almost anything look real -- unless you're talking about porn. There's no faking that.

The eating is real and they often have to do it more than one take. Why is she so skinny? She probably works out a lot!
As for the sex - of course it's fake - can you imagine having sex with a ton of people around (the director, the film crew, etc) watching? You can't seem them *really* doing anything anyway - they just pretend they are. (It's called acting!).

She may be eating and then spitting it out after the scene. Or she may just exercise a ton!
And the actors aren't really having sex. They are wearing flesh colored underwear and faking everything.

rule #1, don't beleive most things on TV unless it's a documentary made by the history chanel.
Even news from cnn or fox are very biased and show part of the story. So even though they are not lying, they still show one side of the story, which is unfair.
Most things on tv are fake. learn it the hard way.
PS : don't believe reality shows either, they are full of lies.

The food is made of wax, which cannot be digested by humans. The sex is real if they consent to it, otherwise they use special injected drugs to render the man limp during the scene and just grind away.
