I have looked at the PayPal site to set up an account, and have looked at their table to see what each account offers. It says the Personal account is "ideal for online shopping" but that the Premier account was "perfect for buying and selling on Ebay". All I want the account for is Ebay shopping, but that basically means shopping online. Which account would be better for me?

eBay is the largest online marketplace and one of the most popular ways to earn an income from home with a PC and internet connection. Selling on eBay is inexpensive and easy to start. Ebay has a number of tools for sellers to maximise sales. These are eBay Pulse, Hot items report, merchandising calendar. By sourcing products at a low price, you can increase your profit. 'Selling' is the word! If you want to start selling, please opt for the Premier Account, since it allows sellers to accept money using credit cards.. You can continue to receive money from your customers to your paypal account! (Customers must pay through their account, that means they must have a paypal account)
If you are only out there for buying, A Personal account should more than suffice your needs.
Cheers!

the personal account is really all you need for ebay. i have had my paypal accoutn for years, i have used it to both, buy and sell. just be forwarned tho, that if you ever decide to start selling, when you reach a certain point in sales, paypal will start charging you a certain percentage of your incoming revenue.

Personal will be fine if you're not going to be selling. Even if you're just selling a couple items a month it'll work fine.

If you just want to buy, a personal account is sufficient.

if your just sending money yes it's fine but if your receiving money then no because it will have a limit on how much money you can receive.
