Almost Famous. Viewing the film actually puts me back in the early to mid 70s--a prime time for rock n' roll. Almost Famous reminds me that each preceding generation bemoans "the death of rock n' roll" as the "new guard" arise to take over.
And I admire the film's message about friendship loyalites and the lesson about judging a book by it's cover. And yes: there's that comming of age / first crush entwinement in Almost Famous, too......and what ever became of that groupie chick anyway.........??????
