Did Bush forsee this when he went for the oil. Cause if the media doesn't do its job by informing the American public, will they try to hide it with shows of Paris Hilton. Then surprise us when a hostile act of war from IRAQ occurs. I know we can blow the whole damn military of IRAQ to smitherines. But Rumsfeld, Bush, Cheney, they don't give a hoot about those boys in the line of fire. Cause their children aren't there to fight for Americas oil.

Sending my Thanks to Nobody, those links are really awesome. It shows that our troops are risking life and limb for the stabilization of IRAQ. There is a purpose with those troops to achieve their mission. But over here in the states, there exists a competing news media industry that is out of control. Who can we trust with the news, I don't see one stand out leader in Americas media. God bless America and our troops.

no surprise there, of course he didn't forsee retaliation. He sought to rush to war as quickly as possible, so that the issues could never be properly debated. He started a war without considering the geopolitical consequences, i.e losing Iraq as a counterbalance to Iran. Bush also failed to give accurate estimates of the costs of the adventure in Iraq. What's sad is that people don't realize what is going on over there. It also appears that many people in American are more interested in celebrity gossip than actually news.

Fighting terrorists/ suicide bombers is very different from fighting against a nation. America, in general does not fair well against guerilla troop, or the insurgency in Iraq would have been long gone.

Oh, so a right wing nut says so, so it must be true. 50 000 suicide bombers you say. Sounds scary. I'll take my information from reputable sources, like the BBC, rather than from some spittle flecked fascist with an agenda and a small coçk.

EDIT

"In 2004, Beck called Michael Berg, whose son had been beheaded in Iraq, 'despicable' and a 'scumbag' because the elder Berg criticized George W. Bush in the wake of his son’s death."
"On May 17, 2005, Beck fantasized about murdering anti-war filmmaker Michael Moore"
"He wasn’t much more charitable to victims of Hurricane Katrina, some of whom he called "scumbags." On September 9, [2005]"
"It took me about a year to start hating the families of the 9-11 victims"

Nice guy, what an American!

Johnny D,

"Did Bush forsee this when he went for the oil"

We did not invade Iraq for oil. The Iraqi's control the oil. We buy it at market prices.

"I know we can blow the whole damn military of IRAQ to smitherines"

Why in the world would we want to destroy Iraq's military? They are in the process of becoming an ally of the US. Our Marines and Army are training them to fight the insurgency and provide proper police protection.

Suicide bombers are no match for Daisycutters. There a big difference between fighting terrorists and a whole nation. If Iran gets to far out of line then we can attack them with overwhelming force.
