It seems that 80% of the people on here hate God. I don't think he is happy at all. Look at the news, it's never good and keeps getting worse every day. It's only a matter of time at this rate.

How can He be happy with us? Yes we do alot of good in this country, but we do so much bad also. Our country was founded because we wanted to serve God freely!!! But we have become so casual in our relationships with Him. We are a country afraid to step on someones toes and tell them that they are living wrong! We ignore our own actions and accuse others without cause. God is our judge. But we really need to step up and tell people the truth. Their blood is on our hands if we don't tell them that Jesus is the way and the only way. Nothing else will get you to him. His plan is the only one that matters and every other plan is going to lead you to an empty and lonely place. Not to mention the burning fires of hell that everyone of us are going to face if we don't get Jesus on the inside of us. God doesn't say we have to be perfect. But he does say we have to be forgiven!!!! Only belief in Jesus and asking him to be your savior and living a life for him will get you there!!!!

Not a very encouraging response from the first few, but I beg to differ.
Sure, you hear about all the bad things in the news all the time... and to be sure there are bad things happening around the world, and probably in your own community.
All of that detracts from the fact that the vast majority of the people lead decent lives, love their families.. and have the potential to be charitable. I think that by in large, god would in fact be happy.

Why is this in Dining Out?
Did you mean "Do you think God is happy with the way we have been acting in restaurants?"

NO not at all. i don't knwo what religion you are but with everything the bible tells us...we are doing the complete opposite. parents turning against children..even killing them and same the other way around. people are killing people for reasons we all think are stupid. its getting close to the end of days.....everybody should be ready before the time of jugdement ends. in the bible it says that in the last days the days will be shortened.. did you know that with all the hurricanes the day was actually shorten my like a millisecond or something. read the bible look for the signs and do something about changing your life

That depend on which god your talking about. The christian god is probably mad about the progress made by science in the recent years. Allah(However you spell it) is happy about killing infidels(that is really in their religious text, scary huh). Buddhists don't really have a god. The Hindu gods are mad that worldwide people are eating cows. Atheists are sad that there isn't a god to be mad at them. I don't enough about Taoism, and Confucianism to make a comment about them. Zeus is pissed that he isn't being worshiped anymore and is scheming with Osiris and Bhaal to destroy the world. Meanwhile the priest of Lathander are praying for Gandalf to return to middle earth and make Luke apologize for killing his father.

Generally, as a population, God is probably not happy with us. I am not happy with the way the majority of the population has been acting.
As far as me personally, I try. I am not there yet, but I try to please God.

I think it's possible that God put us here and that he is letting us use our free will freely. How we choose to spend our time is up to us. I think he is happy and unhappy when he wants to be. I am sure there are people out there that make him unhappy and other people who probably he is very proud of.

Think about it, are you happy with the way that you are acting... I know that theres days when you feel like you want to kill this person that did something bab to you.... or that friend that told your secret.. you just want to ring her neck... or that teacher that just hates you..................... its hard to live the way God wants us to, because the time are not the same...when Jesus was around it was much easier because people cared about one another's feeling, everyone was out to help there brothers and sisters...yes there were a few crime here and there, but nothing like today.... we see these things on a daily base by the dozen at a time............. on tv...
What God is looking for is a person like Job.....God believed in Job to the point where he told satan himself "HAVE THOUS CONSIDERED MY SERVANT JOB THERE IS NONE LIKE HIM IN THE EARTH A PERFECT AND AN UPRIGHT MAN ONE THAT FEARETH GOD, AND HATES EVIL... Job 1 :8
Satan said to God Let me show you that i can make job hate you. God answered him and said go ahead and try... i give you permission.... to do what ever you want except killing him...
Satan didn't have anything to do.... so that was the best thing for him now....even though he tried his best to make Job hate God not one time did Job curse God in any way....instead he thanked the lord for what he was going through...he lost his family, his house, his farm, his money, his wife, everything is less that 5 min and on top of it he got this pleg from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet and even then satan couldn't do anything to Job unless the lord God himself gave him permission....
God Still believe in Job 2: 4-7
That's what God is looking for,,,,just for someone to believe in him to the point where he needs not say anything to us... we already understand.....But we find other things to believe in like ourself and our friends,,, but we forget who created us who gave us life...who believe to the point where he died for us, that oneday we would come and find him,,, and he would not have died in vein.... he's looking for just one person.... not everybody just one to make the difference... and that one is you.... if you asked that question its because your heart wants to make God happy and he sees that.... keep trying your best that all he ask...
