Yes, I would like to think it does, now. I work for Family Court, where our primary concern is "The Best Interest of the Child". It can be a difficult job, but I work for a very fair-minded Commissioner who reflects my values and ideals. Being able to see him make fair decisions and try to help care for children in distressful situations is in line with my own values. I like that. Much better than my previous jobs.

With the exception of working for, and being required aid and abet, someone who is a crook and a cheat, your job is not supposed to reflect your values. How you do your job, the fact that you keep your job to support yourself and your family is what reflects your values. And that holds true whether you're a janitor or a CEO.

Yes. I work for a fundraising company called "Newspapers in Education" It's pretty popular. What we do is we call local buisinesses to sponsor the program. What they do is they make a once a year donation to the program and it funds so many newspapers to be delivered to area schools. The teachers use them as a kind of "supplemental textbook" for the students, to enhance critical reading and thinking skills, spelling, writing, geography, political science, current events..ect. In return, we publish their buisiness name and logo in a special "Thank You" ad in the newspaper once a month or once every 4 months depending on their level of membership.
I think it reflects my values very much, because it encourages a sense of community, a thirst for knowledge, it supports children's education, it supports a philanthropic/humanitarian viewpoint, and it's even all done on recycled paper!

By serving the public in saving lives: I'd like to think so; it's a noble cause. But getting involved in the internal, azz-kissing/back-stabbing job politics is something that is NOT in my personal values as a person; I try to steer clear of such and avoid involvement of it.

I had to retire due to health problems but my careers definitely reflected my values. I taught school; I was a mental health professional caring for the mentally ill and mentally challenged elderly population; and I did private care for terminally ill people.

Yes. I promote earth friendly every day products which do not contain the toxins that contribute to the increase in fertility problems, asthma, cancer, mental problems, and indoor pollution being greater than outdoor pollution. Also, I am able to talk about all of the things that are important to me because I founded and run my own company.

I'm not exactly sure what this question means....

I love my job. I'm a school nurse. I help people. I make a difference. I value humankind. So I guess it does.
