Why do people believe more on their eyes than on ears..or maybe some other sensory organs?

eye and other sense organs are doing as follows- nose-limited sense for human,very close range application for us. tongue-for only things into or very near to mouth. skin-near to body objects. ear-it is evident that though we can recognise object with sound but it is not possible for humans to distinguish objects or way of a object in a noisy place.like cars in street. eye-eye is only wide range organ and distinguish is easy between a car and a bike. it is safe to see our way from a mile apart,so colours of our life always touch us through our eyes.

because we experience the world through our eyes. recognize people, places etc... through vision our memories are visuals, its our primary sensory source of experience. Even sounds can be confused in distinggishing but our sight is far more accurate
