I've climbed Mt Meru - next to Kili (about two weeks ago) and i found it fantastic. However, it is expensive but for a good service I would recommend Ahsante Tours based in Moshi. You will have a great time and some great photos too! I would also recommend to go on safari, again adding to the cost but a trip to the Ngorongoro crater is superb.

Kili is a relatively easy climb, but look around for the best deal, some operators are open to haggling. The view from the top is amazing!

Shopping around for packages is good advice. Also, pick up a book on kiswahili so you can learn a few easy phases in advance. It will make your trip much more rewarding.
