I pour bleach into the toilet first thing and swish it around a bit with the toilet brush, then let it sit while I get to the other parts of the room. I rinse off the tub and shower walls with hot water then I plug the drain and put a little hot water in the bottom of the tub and some bleach and take a bristled scrub brush and scrub with the hot bleach water all the walls in the shower, the shower head and the fixtures then the tub itself...basically from the top down, then i unplug and rinse with hot water from the top down til im sure its all clean. I scrub the sink and counter with a scrubber and bleach and rinse, then go back to the toilet scrub inside the bowl with the brush and then take a clean rag and dampen it with hot water and bleach and clean the outside of the toilet from top to bottom. Floors are vacuumed and scrubbed last, then I may spray some lysol disinfectant spray over everything for the clean scent it has.

I love to spray my whole toilet with clorox-cleanup.. it really smells fresh and santitizes it wonderfully.. also with your sink and tub , depends what kind you have, cast iron tubes I used Comet. Also your faucet fixtures you can use a 0000 thin grade steel wool to remove lime and water built up, then rub on lemon oil and you can also use lemon oil on the sink and tub when you get done cleaning to give it a nice shine. It also repells water.. which is nice. especially for shower doors.. On the shower doors make sure you clean with vinegar and steel wool, then rinse wipe it dry, then apply lemon oil.. it looks so nice with no water spots.. next time you shower it will repell with little beads.. Also cleaning the wall tile if you have it, with zap or even just spray 409 and /or even clorox clean up then shine it with lemon oil, looks wonderful.. the whole bathroom will smell so fresh.. I do this 2 times a week to keep my bathroom fresh.. make sure you scrub inside the toilet with comet as well and let it sit for a while.. I also use a pumice bar to remove water lines and the yucky black stuff if any under the rim of the commode..

the only good tip i can give you is to use some regular alcohol (not the drinking kind) from the store - the kind use to clean wounds and put it in a spray bottle. Spray this on anything that had a chrome finish and then wipe it off. your sink fixtures and towel bars will never be so shiny and truely clean! I learned this when I was cleaning for a local hotel

I use aromatic bathroom cleaner by Cleanpourri for sinks and outside of toilet. For the inside of the toilet I use Lysol toilet bowl cleaner with bleach using a toilet brush and inside the tank I use Clorox tablets which helps to clean after the toilet is flushed each time the toilet is used. I like these tablets because it keeps the inside toilet from getting calcium buildup. Some plumbers wouldn't agree to the use of the tablets because they say it can erode the hardware inside the tank but I have never had a problem with it.

You need a glass cleaner (I spray rubbing alcohol), a disinfectant all-purpose cleaner (try Lysol anti-bacterial cleaner in a concentrated bottle so you can make tons of bottles with it), and a disinfecting soap scum remover (I use comet bathroom cleaner spray). For inside the toilet bowl use comet powder.
You need a sponge, a grout brush or toothbrush, angled toilet brush, and plenty of rags (they recycle).

Pour comet in the toilet first and brush. Let sit for at least 10 min.
Spray shower floor with comet spray and let sit to sanitize for at least 10 minutes. If the shower has soap scum on the walls and tub or floor, spray tons of soap scum remover on it. (It might dry, that's OK).You can return to those later.

Start by wiping down the bathroom mirrors with a dry rag and alcohol. Spray down the whole counter top and sink and fixtures with the all-purpose cleaner generously. If the sink has a film on it, use a little soap scum remover. Shine the faucet(s), and use the toothbrush to scrub around the perimeter of the faucet fixture and wipe. Then, wipe the back-splash, counter, and sink(s). Alchohol gets hairspray off very well.

Change your rag whenever it becomes so wet it leaves streaks and when it gets icky. There should be no wipe marks on anything.

Use the all-purpose cleaner on cabinets and pulls if painted. (If it's wood, try using Murphy's oil, or just spot clean with the all-purpose cleaner.) Shine any other objects or shelves on counter or in sink area. Wipe the light switch and plugs, and clean the door handle and spot clean the door.

Spray down the whole toilet, flush handle and all, with all-purpose cleaner. Wipe with a dry rag starting from the top, handle and lid, and work your way in to the dirty part. Be sure to wipe around the outside of the bowl and by the bolts holding it to the floor. Flush.

Respray the shower walls with soap scum remover if there is a film. If there is not a film, just spray all-purpose cleaner. If there is a film, plug your drain, get your sponge wet and fill the tub just a tad to keep your sponge wet. Scrub all the walls, shower doors, tracks, fixtures, and sides of shower until smooth. If you have grout, use the grout brush to scrub it. Then scrub the tub or floor until smooth. Spray more cleaner and wet sponge as needed. You can step inside the shower if you need to.

Soap scum remover needs to be rinsed with water. Try rinsing by using a large cup with water. It should dry without spots. If not, just spray the glass cleaner and wipe.

Shine the fixtures and stainless steel on shower doors, if applicable, with glass cleaner. Don't forget the shower curtain rod and the outside of the shower and tub.

Shake out outside or vacuum any rugs and set aside. To mop the floors, sweep or vacuum first if it's really hairy or dusty. Otherwise, spray a 2' by 2' area with all-purpose cleaner, starting in the back of the bathroom, and wipe up in a sweeping motion, and work your way out of the bathroom. Wipe the baseboards on your way out.

And your done. When the floor is dry, check your work.

To keep your shower stall spotless, wax it with car wax! It works wonders on glass shower doors and acrylic stalls and tile walls. DO NOT WAX THE FLOOR OF YOUR TUB! But it is safe(if you don't have children to wax the sides of your tub. The water just runs right down the walls without residue. I wax once a month with Turtle Wax car wax.

Clorox always does the job. If you can't stand the smell. Good old fashioned vinegar or Comet tile cleanser will do the trick.
