Nostradamus, much like Newt Gingrich who said we were entering "World War III", is frequently wrong. Nostradamus end of the world prediction includes a great war. While nuclear war has a very high probability of happening in the next fifty years, no one can predict whether it will be a regional conflict such as between India or Pakistan, or a global, extinction level event. What we do know will happen is that most, if not all, of humanity will probably go extinct in the next hundred years due to factors influenced by rapid climate change. The world, however, will continue albeit without us.
