My lady friend is getting married by end of 2007. But her bf is a citizen of a 3rd world country and she really has no option but to live & stay there with him, and he is not financially stable.
Getting married to him may lead to regrets later coz he is really poor and not that faithful.
What is your advice? Must she remain single (til she finds another man) or take the risk coz she really loves him.
What would you do if you were in that situation?

well if he is not faithful now,why does she think he will change after marriage.It seems like she is blinded by her new found love,and isnt seeing the reality.Unfortunately there isnt much you can say to make her change her mind,most people need to learn the hard way.Let her know how u feel but dont try to tell her what to do,shes an adult and its her decision in the end.

How can she love a lazy man? He may be poor but today there're a lot of chances to work and improve himself. Even she is not sure that the guy also loves him too. It depends on her. I must do some thing for the guy and told him to choose a career and take training. I would also find a job for him. I would bring him in my country.

I wouldn't do it if he is unfaithful. No woman deserves to give up everything for an unfaithful man. I think if she is used to having material comforts she may end up resenting him. It really isn't wise to marry beneath your own class.

Why does she have to stay in his country. I would think he would be frothing at the mouth to go to her country. I am a firm believer in love but, not at the expense of true happiness.

The cheesy answer is "love", yet that heavily is what i opt for. i'm unlikely to stay without my love and abandon her for some thing stupid that i could fairly stay out with slightly greater problematical artwork. besides, if I had to sacrifice my love for a occupation, it isn't the occupation i could have taken besides.

CAREER!!!!!!!!!! he sounds like a scum bag and she will regret being out of the water and start over elsewhere where her qualifications may not be worth anything, she will be stranded there with no family and friends...

Let him come and live in the US. She is living here and it may be worthwhile for them to struggle here together. Nothing good can come of her moving to his country.

well i think she shouldn't marry him. you should have also have power( money) while loving. i wouldn't have even thought of getting married to hime!euuuuuuuuuuu
