I have managed to break (i think) my bt home hub within hours of setting it up and wondered if anyone could help...I turned it of while it was downloading firmware/updates or something and now it just won't work (or at least I can't get it too) is there anything I can do to fix it?

Turning off while DOWNLOADING firmware may not be so bad....

However turning off while INSTALLING firmware is the quickest way to kill any router. You will have to buy another one this will most likely not be covered by warranty.

u didnt give more explantion of your problem but still see on hub is there light are blinking? if so thats means your hub is working ok but if its not working u have to change the adoptor of hub. and if your hub if working ok and still facing problem check the IP address of your pc and all network;) this will sloved your problem and if u changed your workgroup also look for that

it might be how the router is configured, sometimes these settings change.

best bet, call BT and get them to talk you through it

good luck

If you just got the thing then why don't you take it back to where you bought it and return it. Just say it never worked.
