My sister just refinished my Grandma's antique wrought iron furniture. It looks absolutely great!! Remove the rust with KBS RustBlast and permanently seal it from ever coming back with 2 thin coats of KBS RustSeal. And then topcoat with whatever color you like. You'll never have a rust problem again! It's worth doing it right.

I am assuming you have iron furniture if it is rusted.
You can sand down the rusted areas, clean each piece of furniture to get all the dirt off, then use some touch up paint on the rusted areas. You should be able to purchase some touch up paint from the same place you bought your furniture from, unless you bought your outdoor furniture from wal-mart, lowes, home depot, etc. Oudoor furniture purchased from those places typically only last three years.

Naval Jelly will remove the old rust and then you need to prime it and paint it with a rust proof paint. Store in a dry place for the winter. I found that when I cover the patio furniture in pastic it has a tendancy to sweat on the winter days when the sun comes out so we have gone to storing the furniture inside tha garage attic without the plastic and that seems to have helped in the rust department

Take it to a sandblaster. After it's been de-rusted, prime it heavily with a red oxide primer.....then paint color of choice.
