Given that I "had" to be, as opposed to "wanting", a different race I would be white. Not that I'm ashamed of my current race but the question does state the word "had". Since I live in a country that is dominated by a white population, I would probably live a comfortable life without worrying about discrimination. Let's face it, racism does exist to a certain extent.

Japanese is good, but I'm already an Asian. So I'd Dutch because they usually have blond hair/blue eyes, and I think that's pretty.

pure 100 per cent Native American ( Indian ) as I am only a small part of this heritage. the answer to why is simple -- the feelings i have toward what The People suffered at the hands of European
" invaders " make me ashamed of my European ancestry.

NO I am who I am. No reason to try to wish to change it. Be proud of what you are and where your family has come from.
