He's for real, his offence can put up points, but Play calling and that LACK of Defense is whats going to hurt the saints.

He'll have a great career. Most likely he'll go to another team in 4 or 5 years and become the face of that franchise.

Well he is a good player but he is not a great player as some beleive he is. This guy can not block, he have trouble running inside and he is loose with the ball. But however if N.O. make him a WR he would be deadly there. He have great hand and he is darn good at catch and run.
Deuce McAllister is a better RB then Reggi is. So don't look for Reggi to be a starter unless Deuce get hurt.

Just because I can, I'm going to disagree with what most of you said.
Reggie Bush is deceptively strong, and physically powerful. He can take a hit well, and he can deliver a blast to any defense caught off-guard.
I think the saints will make him a triple threat as his experience grows.
Obviously, he's the great breakaway outside threat, but he can line up at Wideout and catch better than most current NFL recievers, and I believe he can be that power back to demoralize defensive lines aswell.

Reggie Bush is the real deal.

I think he will be fine as long as they use him the right way. He is not a between the tackles type runner just yet. He may develop into one but as of right know he needs to keep bouncing it outside. The Saints have Duece Mcalister for the tuff yards. I think it would be a mistake to try to make him a bruising type of runner anyway his talents lie with making people miss and receiving the ball out of the backfield. With his talent you need to just put the ball in his hands whether it be on punts kickoffs whatever just get him the ball . He is a potential gamebreaker and is a threat to score everytime he touches the ball.

There is and will be no doubt that Reggie is a half step ahead of the defense. And, he will prove it on the field if all the tangibles fall into place - barring injury - play calling - etc.

He looks as good or possibly better than Barry Sanders coming out of college.

We'll see!

Did you see the 44 yard run he had in the first pre season game??... did you see the quick cuts he made going full speed of the wrong foot in the second preseason game? he already has the vision now he just heed the repitition..... he only ran the ball a total of 13 times in both preseason games... he's in a between the blockers runner, thats why you have duece staley... but get him in the open field and he can and will do some damage... i bet the texans feel stupid!!.. i know i would

Alot of it is going depend on how the Saint's use him, right now he's not a between the tackles type of runner, bounce him out to the outside and let him make plays. As his career develops and matures then you can use him to run between the tackles til then use Duece for that just like USC used Lendale.

But yes he is for real and will turn out to be a great back just give him time to mature.

If he can run between the tackles and move the chains. Otherwise LBs are just going to get progressively wider waiting for him to bounce the ball to the outside. LT is a good runner, both between the tackles and on the outside. Bush will need to emulate his style if he wants to succeed in the NFL.

4 carries for 7 yards aren't exactly "heisman" numbers. sure he had a good 9 yard run, but what back doesn't break a run like that every game he plays? he's getting hyped up before he even accomplishes anything in the NFL. he has potential though, i'll give him that.

I think that he is going to produce big time numbers in his career, and lead the saints to a superbowl within the next 5 years.
