how can i be in a movie?

There are many ways...

1. Contribute a large amount of cash toward the production of a movie...Robert Wagner-The Longest Day.

2. Write, produce and finance the movie...Sylvester Stallone-Rocky.

3. Subscribe to Variety and follow the auditions,

4. Enter a beauty pageant...Homecoming Queen, Miss America, etc.

5. Get noticed...Playboy Magazine.

6. Get your hands on a script and keep in touch with the writer and/or production company. I have just formed my own production company..NEW FIVE STAR MILLENNIUM ENTERTAINMENT, INC. and I am looking for actresses/actors, writers, etc.

7. School...Many acting schools have bulletins regarding auditions.

Basically what you want to do is treat being hired as an actor/actress as you would any other job or profession. Show the boss or employer you are worth the cost of hiring you. It's business, first, then...

Sometimes community groups like the church and/or schools have fund raising performances. Talk to them about a part in any play or theater group. Basically, you need to use your imagination and do everything possible to get noticed.

Start your way from the bottom and work your way up...

Here are some of the things I noticed, they are all based on my sis since she wants to be a movie director

1. Go to school for performance and arts and study everything regarding theater and the arts or theater, it will prepare you, trust me.

2. Get a resume together - should be an 8x11 black and white head shot or a 8x11 color shot of you doing something, don't poise also in that include anything you have done.

3.Know the faces behind the camera, a publicist or and an agent, trust me you know someone who know one of these people, If not check your local phone book.

4. Never put yourself out there, no soft porn or porn itself (unless that is what you want to do)

5. Take some modeling classes and learn to walk like a model.

6. in between all this try to get you SAG card - you will need it.

7.Become an extra they are always doing a talent search at the, yes, you guessed it, the mall. make sure it is leget, do you homework first on the project.

I once asked Tommy Lee Jones how to become an actor. I have met him on several occasions.

He told me that most actors and actresses started small. I have a friend who drives taxies but when and if he can or is needed, he helps build props for westerns and some of the props for "ALAMO"

A lot of people started out as extras. They did more and more parts as extras and got noticed. Sometimes they had a particular way about them. Movies are made all over the place. I took part in a tv show by accident once and didnt even know it till 3 weeks later when i was told i was on a episode when i was really young.

My town college was used for a scene in "Where the Heart is" and i missed trying out for an extra because i didnt see the date till too late.

You never know what might get filmed where, but you might look into that and see if you can catch a casting call nearby.

you got to know an agent or any celebrity who is able to say things about you, otherwise you have to take part in a play which will be awarded and famous, so there is a chance to be called for playing in a movie.. you can also go to auditions, if someone is searching for an actor/actress

Put up huge amounts of $$$$$ to the right people for the hook-up. This where "acting schools" come in handy--for that's their true game: getting payola for connections.

Either that or get a Playboy pictorial---something that does attract attention....and hope your casting couch skills are sharp.

always ck your local papers for casting calls. log onto craigslist.com for a list of local acting jobs, good way to start is as an extra. i am going to be on the new jeff foxworthy show starting sept 1st just cause i sent in a photo, so you never know...lol
