Alternative to what? For Optimalic pain due to glacoma? Believe it or not, marijuana taken in the doses that your physican prescribes is safer than any other drug. The other pain medications that would need to be taken over a prolonged period of time are detrimental to your body's liver and kidneys.

If you are seeking an alternative to stress in your life, perhaps restructuring your life in a way that elminates stress, and those who cause it would be most beneficial to your mental health. Also a glass of red wine a day will help relax and provide nessasary antioxidants that rejuvinate your body. But that is ONE glass. Two is pushing you to destroy your liver. All in moderation.
