Try a better pre-mix, Iused to use MC1+ for mine at 40:1 and it drooled like a pitbull. I changed my pre mix to H1R by Bel Ray as well as using AvGas for fuel (don't use it unless you want to clean your top end a lot, use 3 gallons of Super Unleaded and 2 gallons of Race Gas for the same effect). I also had to rejet my carb because it blubbered at the low end. Heres the basics of how to rejet, if the bike reacts this way, do this:

wide open - 3/4 throttle, blubbers smaller main jet, drys the plug, bigger main jet adds more fuels

1/4 - wide open is Pilot Jet territory turn the air screw for better throttle respose, if it doesn't work very well or at all, pilot jet is too big, if its too sensitive, too small

1/4-3/4 throttle is the Jet needle. If it bogs, lower the needle by remving the e-clip on it and put the clip on a higher place on the needle. Placing the clip higher will allow more fuel making it bog more.

Idle - 1/4 throttle-air screw. In: more fuel, out: more air

Be careful when rejetting, if it gets really mixed up, you could actually fry the engine. If I were you, I'd spend the 20 bucks or so and get a Clymer manual for your bike for a better explanation and all the tables and specifications for your bike. It pays for itself real fast

When you get a new plug, make sure it is gapped right (dont trust the plug maker) Clean your air filter after every few rides or after EVERY dusty ride. And one of the guys that answered before me was right, its an 80, its a higher revver, if you think your bogging it but going fast enough for you, downshift and blow the crap out.

Have fun

Make sure the air filter is clean. The bike is almost 20 years old. If the top end (piston, rings, cyl) hasn't been rebuilt, then it's time.
2 strokes are meant to be rode WFO (wide f'n open) before shifting gears. Otherwise the oil won't get fully burnt and foul the spark plug.

might want to raise the clip on the neddle which would drop the neddle down leaning it out

You need to re-jet... and probably do a top-end.
