I want to play a Nigerian Movie on my computer but it cant play

I don't know what region Nigeria is in. If you look on the back of the DVD case there should be a number inside a symbol on the very bottom. It will say 1, 2 or 3. America and Canada are region 1. Europe and parts of Asia are region 2, Australia and New Zeland are region 3. You also might have a formating problem. Formating refers to the number of lines of color on the TV screen. America has the fewest and therefore the worst quality, because we also have had it the longest. You can purchase all-region DVD players. Mine is pal/ntsc convertible as well. Pal is the UK and Europe and NTSC is the US and Canada. If you compare your Nigerian DVD with an American DVD you can see if there are any region or formating differences.

It's probably the regional code's restriction. Find out from the back of the DVD case.
