My married girfriend came to visit me without her husband. She slept with my husbands best friend and claimed nothing happened and they were just sharing a bed. I do have a spare bed and a couch and a futon so there was no shortage of places to sleep. What is even weirder, this happened the last time she came to town. I am uncomfortable with the whole situation. She is here for three more weeks, what should I do? Sorry for the long explanation/details.

Thanks to the top answer, I really do feel caught in the middle. I hate to think she is just lying right to my face. I was upset enough the first time, I hate going through this again, she does claim she slept with these friends but they didn't do anything. I think she is just treating me like a fool and I am upset because I have been her friend for years.

Thank you for the answers I got so far. I am pretty disgusted by the innocent act she puts on. I don't know her husband very well. He is my husbands best friend and he doesn't know what happened either.

Boy, that's pretty low to use your house to fool around in....I can understand that she's your friend and all but I would have a serious talk with her to get to the bottom of things...I can totally understand how you feel, first of all, you don't want to be caught in the middle of anything or be the "accomplice" to the whole situation ....because inevitabley if the truth comes out, her hubby is going to blame you as well, saying that you knew all along....I'm not sure how close you and her hubby are but that makes for a uncomfortable situation....plus it's just a lack of morals and the fact that she doesn't even come clean with you and explain herself or her situation is inexcusable....she should know better and treat you (her friend) and your house/hospitality with respect. Do something about it right away, don't let things get any more out of hand than they already are.
Good luck to you...and stay strong!

Tell her you don't buy her story and you aren't going to be her coverup for messing around. If she wants to sleep with this guy then she needs to find the local "no tell motel". You can't let yourself get caught in the middle...if she gets caught then the husband is going to blame you for not telling him....

You totally own her! If you ever need someone to get you out of a hotspot, she'll have to do it or you'll have to spill the beans.
