can some body help me, iv got a Lexmark Z35 printer, all the drivers are installed, when i try to print something out from MS Word, computer says "problem communicating with the printer" and a window opens saying
Communication Not Available
the printer cannot communicate with the computer
make sure:
- the printer is turned on."
but the printer is turned on and the green light is showing, i was able to print a test page in the set up, (i have uninstalled the drivers and installed them again but no luck)
i really need help!

Oh I was afraid when I saw wat the question was that you had a lexmark,STAY AWAY!!
I once got a new computer and new printer, it was a lexmark, I had to get a new printer 3 times the thing didnt work finally I bought a different brand and the thing worked in seconds take it back and try hp or cannon , hp is the best.

Also double check when you go to print that there you do not have more than one Lexmark printer listed in the printer selection window. If you do you may be selecting the wrong one.

you will need a 20lb sledge hammer and a trash bag to fix it.
1.place the Lexmark z35 in the trash bag
2. place the bag with printer inside on your floor
3. smash it with the 20lb sledgehammer until it is dust.
4. enjoy the liberating feeling you get when you smash uncooperative office equipment.
5. go buy another printer

Funny I had same problem few weeks age. I had to un-install the lexmark printer. Than turned around and installed it again.
It worked after that.
I think its the brand....

Try to restart the computer. I know that might work because i have a lexmark Z600 printer.

was the printer connected to the computer before you installed the software?
if so, uninstall everything, disconnect the printer, then reinstall THEN connect the printer

make sure the usb cable is plugged into your computer AND printer !!!
that could be the problem.. if not, good luck

it happened with my phone lol! it kept sayin no device found and do u know the reason? it was not installed properly... cus them popup things near the taskbar (yellow popup) comes about 3 times, and i ignored it the rest of the time... hard to explain anyway, make sure its installed properly

ur printer is ok maybe some thing rong in ur pc set it as defult printer in ur pc

is everything plugged into the computer right? mayby it isn't the right type of printer for your computer.
