Well, I can say that it could be also halgh of 12/=7?

halgh=half,
then half of twelve =12/6=2.

6. gh is pronounced f in words like cough. One of my primary school teachers wrote the word fish as ghoti, and we had to try to work it out. The o and ti both came from station, if i remember rightly. Funny the things that stick in your mind isn't it?
