not to be cocky but you can't buy any car with a license. You need money, financing and so on. If you are asking can you buy a car in a foriegn country of course. Money talks,,,it would be registered with the local government however when you try to bring it back to the states that is not easy. Customs, state regulations on smog equipment and so on.

I am travelling through Germany as a International guest (for a holiday) and want to buy a car to use for the 6 weeks while I m travelling throughout Europe. I am an Australian citizen, and I will have a International Drivers Lisence. But I won t have a fixed address in Germany. Can I still buy a car, transfer it to my name, and drive it throughout Europe while Im there. I have a fixed address in Macedonia, however I would only be there on a Australian Passport.

I think yes you can buy a car but in order to insure and drive it on German roads you have to have a German license. It is the law to insure your car so there is no way around that.
If you live there you can pretty easily get a German license. Just apply for one at the administration. (Führerscheinstelle)
Here is the link:
http://www.das-kfz-portal.de/fuehrerscheinstellen/ (only German but you can figure it out)
And it is also not true that there are no speed limits in Germany. Inside a city it is 50 km (30 miles) and outside it is 100 km (60 miles). If you travel on the Autobahn there are in fact areas where there is no speed limit but often you have 130 km or 100km. Be careful they often have radar traps and it is expensive to drive to fast.

Ok why would you want to buy a German car? If it is German Specs you know you can not take it back to the states without going through some expensive things to get the Specs changed? If you are here for military then you should have a license here too (Germany), and in that case you can buy one. I wouldn't suggest buying a German Spec car unless you plan on staying here though.

yeah you can buy a car in Germany and as far as buying a whole factory you are going to have to worry about gas it isn't cheap. My father has a van that he can't drive because the cost of putting gas in it is to expensive. If you have the money go for it. chow.

If you got the money you can buy anything anywhere in the world. Have you never heard money is the UNIVERSAL credential. Money may not but you love, or an extension of your lifespan, but anything material, you can buy easily.
