The people in dreams are said to be a reflection of ourselves. Maybe you have recently grown and found a new side of yourself that is enchanting to you but you are unsure of expressing this new side. Not a new gay side or anything..just a new part of you.
I think its cool that you mention color. Once, I had a dream in which I was back at my home, and I was talking to either my deceased father or my stepfather, who are different races than each other, but in my dream it was of no importance to me what race or even who exactly it was- just kind of a father figure. I've heard that people dream in black and white, but mine definitely have color.

dreams are supposed to be weird, like birds flying backward,etc...

dream symbols can be confusing...
I believe that you are the only one with enough information to understand the FULL MEANING of the symbols of YOUR dream.

Different parts of the "woman's" personality may be ready to leave your subconscious as your conscious is ready to deal with the situation....
I don't know who the woman in your dream is, but you do!!!!

so, your dream is, you love some woman that you don't know! and you keep seeing her differently.

Are realizations coming to you about someone that you previously didn't know that they were really this way?

When you are unsure, the best is you don't read too much into it.. it may be misleading and misguiding to you because you don't have the knowledge to understand it.
Consult an expert in that field or read relating books.

You obviously are undergoing a sexual identity crisis....You are probably bi-curious...you may even be conciously aware of this but at least sub-conciously aware of it.......you may not want to admit it to yourself and certainly not to others.. you may, here, be testing the waters to see what others think...Well here's my thought...you are not crazy..or even abnormal in any way...many people of both sexes feel,at some point in their lives a desire for a person of their own gender...my advise ...try it you may like it.
