This is beyond the capacity of any State to do. California screwed up, with a little help from Enron. Whoops is as bad as it gets.
There has been little construction of transmission cable, no construction of nuclear or hydro, and rather little of anything else.
Time to think about economizing use . . .
(For the person who asked whether states can control use: they control rates, and by so doing, influence usage. Lower night rates -- as is done for industry and for European consumers -- would help. People could do their laundry and dishes at night and save money. This was pioneered by Electricité de France, applying the theory of Marginal Cost Pricing.)

By getting their commie hands out of the private sector's business. CA for example caused a crisis due to way too many restrictions put on the electric companies' ability to expand with the demand. As a consumer of electricity you should fight for less government and more individual and business freedoms.

which state r u talking about....well...it depends upon the area also...unless ur in UP, BIHAR or MP....the state government should not have much problem taking care of electricity crisis.
